Luanda — The agricultural production in the Quiminha Integrated Regional and Agricultural Development Project in Icolo e Bengo municipality, in Luanda might reach over this year the 40,000 tons in an increase of more than 5,000 comparing to the last harvest.
According to the Deputy General Director, Pedro Silveira who was speaking in an interview to ANGOP, the current production estimated at 35,000 tons per year, allows the project to monthly collect 190 million kwanza (Usd 347,829).
The Quiminha project which was created in 2012 as a result of the public and private partnership with Israeli specialists has been facing some difficulties regarding the acquisition of some raw material but even though has managed to achieve its production goals.
