On October 22, around 50 young women from ages 10 to 18 years old spent the day experiencing aviation with introductory flights flown by Sisters of the Skies pilots, as well as air traffic control tower visits, tours of an aviation museum, Q&As with pilots and flying simulators. American Airlines stated they were honored to be a part of this event as they continue their focus on recruiting, developing and retaining the best talent with diverse backgrounds.
