“Right now, we are in a changing environment as it relates to jobs; [as a society] we are focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced technology,” she added, highlighting an uptick in support of HBCUs (like Paul Quinn College and Prairie View A&M) that she hoped would help close the workforce and skill deficit in her district.
