The Road to Redemption – ASALH – The Founders of Black History Month

Janice Burns is a young woman who is longing to be loved. She sacrifices everything to gain the love she craves only to lose it all. Her loss leads to her gaining a new life with God and a new perspective on love. Her journey to true love is also the story of her journey back to God. Without a sense of self-value, a picture of what love really is, and a balanced view of  God’s love for her, Janice’s decisions are tainted with a need to find someone to validate her value.
