A month after Senegal announced its readiness for 5G, Sonatel—Orange Senegal—has snagged the bid to provide the country's first 5G service. Sonatel reportedly bid $59.1 million for the licence, beating Free’s $5 million and Expresso’s $3.4 million bids.
