By STAN CHOE, DAMIAN J. TROISE and ALEX VEIGA AP Business Writers U.S. stocks are moving higher Thursday as more big companies report profits for the summer that weren't as bad as Wall Street feared. The S&P 500 rose 0.6% in afternoon trading after shifting between small gains and losses throughout the morning. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 201 points, or 0.7% at 28,411, as of 2:17 p.m. Eastern time. The Nasdaq composite recovered from an early slide and was 0.3% higher.
