In 1739, the Black slaves of Prince George's County, Maryland, secretly organized themselves into

a small army, appointed a king, and layed plans for 8 months to capture the local arsenal and treasury,

and liberate themselves from slavery by killing all whites. The day before the plot was to be implemented

one of th perpetraitors in an effort to save his master betrayed his brothern and revealed the plot to his

master. The revolt was needless to say, dwarted and most of the slaves died fighting for freedom. Ironically,

today Prince George's County, Maryland is the richest predominately Blakc county in the nation and most of

its Black citizenry know literally nothing about the valiant effort of the slaves who resided there before them.
