Grammy-nominated R&B singer  Jaheim was arrested and charged with animal cruelty on Monday after police found six dogs in partially water-filled crates, as well as several other pets in troubling conditions at the artist's home in Hillsborough, New Jersey . While the six dogs in the crates were found on the driveway, the additional nine dogs were found inside the house "in varying stages of emaciation" without food and water, My Central Jersey reports .  Somerset County Prosecutor Michael Robertson said one mixed-breed pit bull terrier, which was initially unresponsive in a crate, was euthanized. The other 14 pets were examined and released to Long Hill Kennel in Hillsborough. When police responded to the home after getting a call about a puppy in distress, they found the six dogs in separate animal crates. After hearing barking from inside the house, officers entered the home. Officers spotted more pets sitting in crates filled with several inches of water and dog feces. ...
