A gunman robbed a female Burger King worker of at gunpoint on Monday.
A police report said at around 10.20 am, a man entered the Marabella outlet at the Southern Main Road and announced a robbery.
He pointed the gun at her and told her to hand over the cash. She complied and gave him $7,500 from a vault. Before leaving, the gunman also robbed her of her cellphone.
No one was injured.
The fast-food restaurant was closed for the day.
At 10.33 am on Monday, on its Facebook page, the company referred customers to its C3 and Gulf City outlets for their "flame-grilling needs."
Up to Tuesday, the suspect remained at large. Marabella police are investigating.
