On May 20, 2022, United States Attorney Delia L. Smith announced two former Virgin Islands Corrections Officers and one current Officer from the John A. Bell Correctional Facility on St. Croix appeared before United States Magistrate Judge Ruth Miller after a federal grand jury returned a five-count indictment.
