Mais il n'y a pas que la terre qui surchauffe : fin juillet, la température à la surface de la Méditerranée atteignait 30,7 °C, un record. Ce phénomène de "canicule marine" devient de plus en plus fréquent dans les mers et océans en raison du réchauffement climatique, avec des conséquences dramatiques pour la biodiversité.
