Calvin Darden

Calvin Darden, Sr. was Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations for UPS. In this role, Darden was accountable for all U.S operations, which covers 317,000 employees and 25 billion in revenues. Prior to this role, Darden was responsible for one-half of the U.S. operations. Before that, Darden was UPS’ first Corporate Strategic Quality Coordinator. As a quality coordinator, Darden developed and implemented UPS’s quality strategy; focusing on customer satisfaction, employee empowerment, process improvement and effective methods of measurement. Currently, Darden is the Chairman of Darden Petroleum and Energy Solutions LLC, which provides gasoline, diesel, ethanol and jet fuel to several companies in the USA.

Darden was ranked 8th on Fortune Magazine’s “50 Most Powerful Back Executives in America.” Darden is Chief Operations Officer at his church Greater Community Church of God in Christ.
