Tallahassee, Fl – The Tallahassee Police Department has identified Oluwatoyin “Toyin” Salau, 19, a victim of murder after nearly a week of searching for her as a missing person.

Salau was a vocal activist and had appeared on several videos of the protests in the Sunshine state’s capital, she was last seen on June 6 in the area of Orange Avenue and Wahnish Way in Tallahassee.

3 days following her final post, Tallahassee police department reported her missing.

Sunday night around 10pm friends and family were informed by private investigator that the Tallahassee police department had been found dead.

The police department has no further details at this time.
