Bethny Brown is Vice President of Human Resources with The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, the world’s largest marketer of branded consumer products for lawn and garden care.

In this role, Brown partners with executive leadership to develop and drive key strategies and initiatives across the organization. Her proven track record of being a driver focused on results, and her transparent and a political style, is the foundation for all her partnerships.

Prior to joining Scotts, Brown gained hands-on experience in progressive and diverse organizations, from start-ups to industry leaders, with revenues of $15 billion including multi-state U.S. and global locations. Previously, Brown was a Human Resources Manager for Express and Gap, Inc. Her leadership in this role supported associate relations for over 20,000 associates domestically and internationally in approximately 361 stores.

Committed to giving back, Brown dedicates her time as a volunteer for worthy causes including the Heiress Program, Connecting Women and the Youth Empowered Summer Program.

Brown’s understanding of relevant business trends and emerging human resources practices, makes her a sought out business partner and speaker.
