Another Mahalia Jackson Biopic Is On The Way, And The Latest Project Stars Ledisi

R&B artist Ledisi is set to play the iconic gospel singer Mahalia Jackson in a new biopic based on Jackson's life. The film, Remember Me: The Mahalia Jackson Story, is set to focus on Jackson's career between 1956 to 1963, her friendship with Martin Luther King Jr., and her role in the Civil Rights Movement.
