[allAfrica] Utrecht -- According to the just released 2024 State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World, in 2023, an estimated 28.9 percent of the global population - 2.33 billion people - were moderately or severely food insecure. And in low-income countries, more than 70 percent of their populations are unable to afford a healthy diet.
