The 15th Annual African American Literary Awards Show is happy to announce honoree Marley Dias! Marley is the 14 year old super girl behind the #1000BlackGirlBooks campaign. She leveraged the power of social media to form an international movement to collect and donate children's book that feature Black girls as the lead character, which has resulted in 10 billion media impressions. She launched the drive in November 2015 with the GrassROOTS Community Foundation. Marley is also the author of Marley Dias Gets It Done: And So Can You!
