[Daily Trust] At the end of the extraordinary session of the Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), which took place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, the regional body decided to lift the sanctions imposed on the military rulers of Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso, for overthrowing the democratic and constitutional governments of their countries.
