The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has expressed shock over the discovery of the lifeless body of its first-year student, Okenyi Favour Oluchukwu, in a drainage ditch on the school premises. Favour, who enrolled in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, allegedly had her remains dumped in the drainage near Akanu Ibiam Stadium last Friday, to the shock of those who discovered her. It is yet to be ascertained what led to her death, but the University management said it is already working with security agencies and her family to unravel the circumstances behind it.
