[Observer] On 15th February 2024, in an opinion published in New Vision entitled 'Why judiciary's independence is not absolute', the Minister of State for Lands, Hon. Sam Mayanja, himself a lawyer of several years' standing, proffered a number of interesting views on the nature and function of judicial power.
