For the first time since being elected, Twitter has fact-checked a claim President Trump made on the social media platform.
According to Vox, Twitter placed fact-check links below two of Trump’s tweets, which allegedly shared misinformation and lies about mail-in voting.

Twitter released a statement on its decision Tuesday night.
“There are many reasons the Trump campaign pulled all our advertising from Twitter months ago, and their clear political bias is one of them.”
Twitter also suspended the account of Trump favorites Diamond and Silk after spreading misinformation on the coronavirus outbreak.
