Tuskegee Airman honored with aerial salute

By Charles E. Ramirez, The Detroit News Trinity Sims said she saw the “Red Tails” movie about the Tuskegee Airmen as a little girl. But the 18-year-old Michigan State University student from Detroit probably never thought she’d fly a plane in an aerial salute as part of a memorial ceremony for one of those legendary African-American World War II fighter pilots. “I’m excited to be able to honor (Col.
