[Tunis Afrique Presse] Tunis/Tunisia -- In its daily report on the pandemic situation in the country released on Tuesday evening, the Health Ministry said that 1,598 additional infections by the coronavirus have been recorded on December 28, from 6,403 conducted tests. 52 further fatalities caused by COVID-19 have also been reported, the same source specified, bringing the death toll to 4,570 since the outbreak of the pandemic last March in Tunisia.
