Trump, was indicted on four federal charges: Count 1 - Conspiracy to Defraud the United States Count 2 - Conspiracy to Obstruct an Official Proceeding Count 3 - Obstruction of and Attempt to Obstruct an Official Proceeding Count 4 - Conspiracy Against Rights This indictment, led by the prosecuting Attorney Jack Smith, is the third indictment filed against Donald J. Trump. Additional legal problems the former President is facing include; indictments concerning the refusal to return and the handling of Special Documents since leaving office, the Georgia criminal investigation concerning interference with the 2020 election, and the New York investigation of the Trump Organization accused of falsifying records to acquire loans and business dealing.
