Trump appointee Federico Klein arrested in connection to insurrection at US Capitol

By: Alyssa Wilson The FBI has arrested Federico Klein on Thursday for his alleged participation in the deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.  The 42-year-old was one of former President Donald Trump's appointees to the U.S. Department of State. According to ABC News, federal agents picked him up in Virginia.  An affidavit filed in federal court in Washington says video from police body cameras shows Klein jamming a riot shield into doors as Capitol Police were trying to secure them.  The formal complaint alleges video shows him encouraging others to clash with the police.  Klein is now the first known member of […]
