TT’s men and women’s Under-19 volleyball teams advanced to their respective finals of the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) Under-19 Championships in Jamaica on August 2.
Up against the US Virgin Islands in the semi-final, the men’s team emerged 3-0 victors. They won 25-23, 25-21, 25-22.
Later on, the TT women’s team squeezed past Barbados in their semi-final tie with a 3-2 result.
The finals will be contested over the weekend of August 3 and 4.
