THE EDITOR: The ongoing traffic congestion on Mosquito Creek due to the single-lane issue has become a persistent problem, especially during the school term.
Despite the reduced traffic during the August holidays, the return to school inevitably leads to severe traffic back-up sometimes stretching all the way to the cremation site. The repair and expansion of this crucial roadway should be prioritised to alleviate the daily frustration faced by commuters.
The delay in addressing this issue is perplexing, given the relatively straightforward nature of road repairs. A thorough assessment and a dedicated team could feasibly expedite the process.
Immediate action, including the allocation of necessary resources and efficient project management, is essential to complete the repairs promptly. Reducing traffic congestion on Mosquito Creek will not only improve daily commutes but also enhance the overall quality of life for residents in the area.
