Suriname summons Guyana ambassador over New River Triangle plans: Suriname’s Foreign Minister Albert Ramdin on Friday said he had summoned the Ambassador of Guyana, Virjanand Depoo to protest plans by the government in Georgetown to build an airstrip in what he described as the Tigri Area but what is recognized internationally as the New River Triangle in this country.
