Now that the March 2 elections are finally over, it is time for all Guyanese to put whatever political differences they may have behind them and begin in earnest the task of nation building.
These elections have demonstrated that democracy in Guyana is alive and kicking.
This can only augur well for the country, especially in the context of our new status as an emerging petroleum state.
The country wins when democracy prevails.
This will send the right signal to his supporters and the country as a whole and will certainly go a far way in advancing the cause of national cohesion and political maturity.
