A 28-year-old man has been detained in connection with the shooting death of vendor Mark Quashie, 32, while he was selling at the Chaguanas market in March.
On August 2, Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region Three, police confirmed that the murder suspect, 28, from Enterprise, Chaguanas, was in custody. Investigators were preparing a file to be sent to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for advice.

The gunman ran off.
