The Dallas native known as “Nya” to her friends and family is a dancer, cheerleader and sprinter with the soul of an artist. Her creative spirit likely explains why arts and crafts leads her list of favorite activities. That hobby, blended with a love of nature born from being outside and studying plants, flowers and animals, is often reflected through her artwork. Most recently, Nya has dedicated her time and attention to detail to making and designing masks for her community to help curb the pandemic.
