On Tuesday, as many headed to the polls in a final bid to cast their ballot in the 2020 US presidential election, five more states legalized marijuana for adults, and Oregon became the first state to decriminalize the possession of small amounts of street drugs such as cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine.
