Soca Warriors add star power to squad to face Nicaragua - Trinidad and Tobago Newsday

LEVI Garcia and Joevin Jones are among the 25-man TT squad to face Nicaragua in the Concacaf Nations League match on Friday at 10 pm (TT time) in Managua, Nicaragua.

The TT squad chosen will also play the Bahamas and St Vincent and the Grenadines twice later this month.

The TT team arrived in Nicaragua on Tuesday.

Defenders Sheldon Bateau, Aubrey David and Joevin's brother Alvin, along with goalkeeper Marvin Phillip will add their experience to the set-up.

Youngsters Real Gill, John Paul Rochford and Molik Khan will aim to make an impression on coach Angus Eve.

After TT's match against Nicaragua, the Soca Warriors will return home to play Bahamas, on Monday. The match kicks off at 8 pm at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Mucurapo.

After that match, TT will tackle St Vincent and the Grenadines in St Vincent on June 10 and play the same opponent on June 13 at Hasely Crawford from 7 pm.

Before leaving for Nicaragua, TT defeated St Lucia 1-0 in a practice match at Manny Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella, on Monday.
