Simone Biles appeared on the Today Show to discuss her Valentine's Day engagement to NFL Houston Texans safety Jonathan Owens. During the interview, host Carson Daly asked Biles how her new engagement ring compares to Olympic medals. "I have to ask. You have so much gold, Simone. The ring that you have now, does it match all the hardware that you have? The gold, the silver, does it clash?" Daly teasingly asked Biles as she laughed with Owens. "It's definitely my most prized possession now and I'm always wearing it. ... It definitely beats a gold medal," the gymnastic champion responded. The couple also shared that they're already in the planning stages for the wedding. "We started planning a little bit over the phone but … it's still in the process," Biles said.
