I respond to David Patterson’s letter `Every Guyanese will support the bridging of every river in Guyana but not as a burden to its citizens’ (SN 8/29/2024) as a technocrat that led the execution of the Berbice Bridge project under the Presidency of Bharrat Jagdeo and witnessed its commissioning in December 2008.
The article Rationale for a Berbice fixed bridge is clearly in the vision of the Linden-Lethem road, the Berbice deep water port, and the industrialization of Crab Island and its environs appeared first on Stabroek News.
