TERMINIX La Horquetta Rangers will be looking to keep intact their place atop the ten-team standings in the Ascension Football Tournament, when the second round kicks off on Friday, with a double-header at the La Horquetta Recreation Ground, Arima.
Rangers and Defence Force are both locked on 23 points, but Rangers stay top of the pack due to a superior goal difference.
Rangers will be hosting ninth-placed Central FC in the second game of the double-header, from 8.10 pm.
At 6 pm, Cunupia FC, who have been struggling to keep pace with the top four, will have a tricky encounter against fourth-placed Deportivo Point Fortin.
A pair of matches are on the cards on Saturday, at the Arima Velodrome, with AC Port of Spain squaring off at Real West Fort United from 5 pm while Defence Force will be fancying their chances against the point-less Moruga FC from 7.15 pm.
Police will be in action on Sunday, in familiar surroundings – Police Barracks – where they will entertain Central Soccer World from 5 pm.
