TERMINIX La Horquetta Rangers and Deportivo Point Fortin earned crushing victories on Friday, in a tenth round double-header, at the La Horquetta Recreation Ground, Arima, as the Ascension Invitational Tournament resumed.
Rangers crushed Central FC 6-2 in the feature match while, in the opening fixture, Point Fortin hammered Cunupia FC 6-1.
Among the scorers for Rangers, who stretched their lead to three points ahead of Defence Force, were Kadeem Corbin and Attaula Guerra, who netted two goals apiece.
Rangers have 26 pioints, followed by Defence Force (23), Police (20), Point Fortin (20) and Cunupia (13).
Police are expected to entertain Central Soccer World in the final game of the round, on Sunday, from 5 pm, at the Police Barracks in St James.
