TERMINIX La Horquetta Rangers will be looking to wrap up the title, in the 2022 Ascension Invitational Football Tournament, on Friday when they host Defence Force, in a top-of-the-table fixture, at the La Horquetta Recreation Ground, Arima.
Rangers have amassed 41 points from 15 points, with their nearest challengers, Defence Force and Police, on 34 and 33 points respectively.
The only unbeaten team left in the competition, a victory for Rangers against the Army-Coast Guard combination can see the Dave Quamina-coached squad taking the title, with two games remaining.
AC Port of Spain will be in action at La Horquetta on Friday, as they will oppose Central FC from 6 pm.
On Saturday, at the Arima Velodrome, the cellar-placed Moruga FC will try to gain at least their second point of the season when they square off against Central Soccer World at 5 pm, followed by the fixture between Real West Fort United and Cunupia FC at 7.15 pm.
Police will face off against fourth-placed Deportivo Point Fortin on Sunday, at the Police Barracks, St James, from 5 pm.
