Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes on Tuesday dismissed an application by the prosecution for him to recuse himself from the case involving embattled president of the Prison Officers Association Trevor Browne. Inspector Janice Ifill made the application when Browne’s mutiny case continued in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court, which is currently sitting in the Supreme Court. […]
