“This is a national issue because of the growing mental health crisis in communities across the United States and underserved communities,” Dr. Chavis asserted. “The NNPA again recognizes and salutes the leadership of the Phoenix Suns and others in Arizona for supporting the crucially important Bridge Forum on Mental Health. We will be there to participate fully and to represent the Black Press of America.”
