Saint Lucia police are investigating a suspected drowning at Reduit beach on Saturday afternoon about 5.00 p.m.According to reports, a man described as 'elderly' went for a swim, encountered difficulty and raised an alarm at which others who were on the beach at the time went to his assistance, but found him floating on his stomach when they got to him.The man, whom police are yet to identify, was carried to shore where he was pronounced dead on the scene by a medical doctor.There are no further details at this time.
