Only four states are currently seeing a reduction in new coronavirus cases as numbers spike around the country amid reopening efforts.
Connecticut, Delaware, New Hampshire and Rhode Island are the only states with reductions in new cases, CNN reported Monday.
This stands as a contrast to at least 31 states such as Florida and Texas that have an increase in new cases and at least 15 states like Maryland and Virginia where the number of cases is holding steady.
The U.S. currently has nearly 2.6 million confirmed coronavirus cases, including roughly 126,000 deaths, according to a Johns Hopkins University tracker.
