For allegedly injuring a man with a cutlass during a home invasion, Sherman Greene was remanded to prison.Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes sent the St Michael resident to HMP Dodds after the prosecution objected to him being granted bail, as the complainant in the matter was still recovering from his injuries.Greene, 41, of 6D Rosemont, Deacons Farm, pleaded not guilty to entering the home of Anthony Alleyne as a trespasser on July 16, while armed with a cutlass.Police prosecutor Station Sergeant Crishna Graham asked to court to remand Greene into custody based on the seriousness of the offence and the fact that the virtual complainant was attacked while in his own home.
