To forestall diversion, misappropriation and embezzlement of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has disclosed plans to summon managers of the scheme. EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, gave the hint on Monday in Abuja while addressing representatives of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) who were at the EFCC’s headquarters, Abuja on a solidarity walk. Noting that the commission is against university students engaging in internet fraud just to pay their school fees, Olukoyede advised students to leverage on NELFUND to meet up their school expenses.
