Thirty-five beneficiaries of scholarships and bursaries from the National Community Foundation (NCF) and five invited students participated in a character-building workshop recently aimed at bolstering their empowerment skills. The workshop was held on Saturday, November 26 at NCF’s office on High Street, Castries, and was facilitated by Janine Palm of the Serieux Education Foundation. The Serieux Education Foundation promotes awareness in young people regarding identity, dreams and aspirations with education, social media safety, positive relationships, and leadership-mentoring programmes.
