On Tuesday morning, the Met Office discontinued the yellow-level weather alert.
The Met Office had announced on June 20 that there would be a high (70-80 per cent) chance of intense rainfall over 25mm, street and flash flooding and winds in excess of 55km/h.
But a post on its website on June 21 said the tropical wave has passed, returning weather conditions to a green level.
It said, however: "The likelihood of impactful thunderstorm activity has decreased, though an isolated thunderstorm can still occur."
It advised the public to monitor weather conditions and official updates.
