According to the ADAA, anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the United States, affecting 40 million adults every year.
Nearly 450 million people worldwide are currently living with a mental illness, yet nearly two thirds of people with a known mental illness never seek treatment, according to ADAA.
Tameka Garrett, founder of professional networking company Stilettos on the Pavement, gives her experience as someone affected by mental illness:

What advice do you have for others who may be dealing with mental illness?
