Scores of less fortunate Barbadians continue to benefit from the various Salvation Army programmes.On Wednesday 350 people participated in the eagerly anticipated Christmas hot lunch initiative at the organisation’s Reed Street headquarters in The City and through the Meals on Wheels programme.Chairman of the Salvation Army Advisory Board Paul Bernstein said volunteers reported as early as 4:30 a.m. to prepare the meals for the initiative and by 12:30 p.m. more than 100 lunches were distributed.
