US President Joe Biden’s approval has taken a major hit as almost two-thirds of respondents for a recent NBC poll reported "major concerns" over his mental and physical capability.
In contrast, a little above a third of respondents expressed "major concerns" over former US president Donald Trump’s mental and physical health for the top job.
Mr Biden’s approval amongst African-American voters has taken a major slump since his first year as president – plummeting by 17 points, with Latino support dropping 18 points.
During an interview in 2020 with American radio host Charlamagne tha God, Joe Biden accused African-American voters of not being “black” if they didn’t vote for him.
The US President also called rapper LL Cool J "boy" at a Congressional Black Caucus event over the weekend.
Democrat Senator Cory Booker previously called out Mr Biden in 2019 for using the same inappropriate language in reference to African-American men.
Many users took to X to show their disappointment in the US President following the NBC poll results, including one user who referred to the commander-in-chief as the "worst kind of racist".
