Trinidad and Tobago star forward Levi Garcia netted an impressive hat-trick as he led his AEK Athens team to an 8-3 aggregate win over Andorran club Inter Club d'Escaldes at the Estadi Nacional, Andorra on August 1 as they progressed to the third qualifying round of the Europa Conference League.
Garcia scored once in a wild 4-3 first-leg win over the Andorran team on July 24, but he and his AEK teammates left nothing to chance in the away leg — romping to a thumping 4-0 second-leg win to get the comprehensive aggregate victory.
Garcia opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a surging solo run after picking up the ball in his own half. He doubled his tally in the 74th minute with a clinical left-footed finish after Inter d'Escaldes failed to clear their lines from a set piece, before sealing the hat-trick with a sliding close range finish in the 86th minute.
Nordin Amrabat got AEK's other goal in the riot.
AEK will travel to Armenian team FC Noah for the first leg of their third round qualifier on August 6.
The 26-year-old Garcia netted 14 goals in all competitions in an injury plagued campaign for AEK last season.
